All perishable beauty and the beast,
yet eternally growing is this appetite,
Unquenched by a gulp or a bite,
Unabashed to say the least.
Concealed the glutton inside,
The source of all angst and misery,
Conspires and relishes means of treachery,
There is nothing it shall abide.
Worry not about consequences or disease,
For there may be reasons galore,
Renounce to consume and devour,
but there shall be nothing that shall please.
While unknown the genesis of life and death,
Such is this power of this insatiable need,
Prevalent across creation and breed,
Is hunger that remains until the last breath
Some noble souls walking a lonely road,
Found struggles for survival transient,
And so have they conquered the omnipotent,
Not without hunger to make it to Thy abode.
